In life, you have choices. In this series of one-acts, you get to see how a decision made today can affect the future. “What Would You Do, a series of One Acts”, is directed by Thomas Mattison Jr & Sherry Bowerman. The one acts include a young couple excited for love, a couple  who want more from their marriage, two friends who have lost touch but are reconnecting, and finally a couple who find that love is never lost.
We invite you to share this journey and ask yourself “would I have made the same decision….?"

 Beth Duey (Jennifer, A Late Lunch)  of Westland is happy to be making her return to the Barefoot stage. Beth holds a B.A in Drama from U of M and her numerous roles include Annie Wilkes in Misery, Georgeanne in Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, (both with Barefoot Productions); Claudius/Ghost in Hamlet (Carriage House Theater); Mae in Reefer Madness (Ringwald Theatre); Elizabeth in Murderer (Broadway Onstage).  “Many thanks to a great cast and crew, and to family and friends for their continued support."

Erin Phipps (Anna, Forsaken) of Farmington Hills, is thrilled to make her debut performance with Barefoot Productions.  She grew up dreaming of a life on stage studying music, acting, dance, and performing in numerous shows over the years. In addition to What Would You Do? some of Erin’s other favorite shows have been A Christmas Carol, The Mikado, and Anything Goes. You can also catch her in
Barefoot Productions’ upcoming performance, A Swell Party, An Evening with Cole Porter. Some of her other hobbies include cooking, working out, creating art pieces, and singing in the shower. Erin would like to dedicate this performance to her family and friends who have always been her biggest fans and source of support.

Lisa Rich (Lisa, A Late Lunch) joins Barefoot for her first production on our stage.  Lisa, of Bloomfield, is thrilled to be a part of this amazing group. Her
favorite roles are Karen Nash in Plaza Suite,  Mrs. Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie, Rachel Lynde in Anne of Green Gables, Eulalie Mackenzie Shinn in The Music Man and Millie in Exit Laughing.  She would like to thank her amazing director,  Sherry, and her new best friend, Beth,for making this production so much fun!  It’s been a pleasure working with you both. She would also like to thank her husband for his continued support of her theatre passion.  “Break a leg to everyone in all the other One Acts!”

Allison Perchman (Grace, Sunshine) of Northville is glad to be back on the Barefoot stage previously in the roles of Weird Sister #2 in the Grand Opening
production of Macbeth and as Monica Welles in Rehearsal for Murder. Other roles include Helga in Night Watch.  Allison is currently attending Madonna
University for sign language interpreting. She is thankful for all of the work Sherry, Thomas and Scott have put into this show!

Mike Ludke (Rhett, Then….) studied improv through the Go Comedy Intro and Advanced programs. Mike founded and led an improv troupe in Lansing, The
Unthinkables, and co-wrote the sketch show, It Was the Worst of Times, It Was the Worst of Times. Ludke, a Westland resident, has been
onstage with Ruhala Performing Arts Center and played Leo Gibbs in Barefoot’s production of Rehearsal for Murder. Mike is an IT Trainer at United Shore using improv, as well as other techniques to teach communication and other skills.

Kate Fasko (Mary, a waitress, A Late Lunch) of Toledo joins the cast in her fourth show with Barefoot Productions! She was Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee; Clown 1 in The 39 Steps; various numbers in Roles I’ll Never Play Cabaret. Kate has been acting since she was six.  She thanks her parents, Dan and Sharla, sister, Heather, and boyfriend, Roger, for their continued support.

Emily Hunt (Madelyn, Then…..) is a junior at
Riverview Community High School. This is her first time performing at Barefoot but she is no stranger to the stage. She has been a part of 33 shows, both onstage and behind the scenes. She’s had a blast stepping into Madelyn’s shoes and would like to say “Break a Leg” to everyone and "enjoy the show”!

Katlin Jenkins (Madelyn, Then….) of Allen Park
celebrates acting in her tenth show, her first with
Barefoot Productions. She is currently working on her eleventh show, with Acting Out Productions in Taylor, as Ella Prador in Camp Rock.  “Break a leg to fellow cast and crew!” She hopes everyone enjoys the show. “Thomas is the greatest!”

Sean Thomas (Jon, Forsaken) joins Barefoot for his second production. You may have seen this
Northville resident as Ross, in our Grand Opening production of Macbeth.  Sean’s roles with Schoolcraft College’s theatre program include Frank Lubey in All My Sons, Edward in Blithe Spirit, and his favorites, Laertes and Guildenstern in Hamlet, Mr. Webb in Our Town. When he’s not working, his hobbies include working out, hanging with friends and family, looking at memes, playing video games, doing impressions, Netflix and chill.  “Thanks to my family, friends, my dog, Logan,The Rains Down in Africa and Harambe.”

Jared Withrow (Davey, Sunshine) This is Jared's fourth production with Barefoot. Jared hails from Livonia and has been dreaming of acting ever since a teacher recommended he go into theater after being in a class play. Joining the drama club in High School for four years Jared went on to play the lead in Professor James Hartman's adaptation of Romeo and Juliet to favorable reviews. After receiving his first starring role in the feature film Courageous Love, Jared went on to play a lead role in The Taker’s Crown and has been featured in several short films, a web series, and other independent features. Both aforementioned films are now available on Amazon Prime! It is Jared’s wish to be a part of film projects that are relevant and leave a positive impact on the viewer. Inspire. Encourage. Edify.
