Stan Guarnelo Director , a new director for Barefoot Productions, is from Melvindale.  He has many theater projects on his resume; Sylvia, Crossing Delancey, for The Players Guild of Dearborn, and Cabaret for Dearborn Heights Community Theater. Stan is also an actor, his favorite roles are Max in Laughter On 23rd Floor, various roles in Man of Lamancha, How to Succeed in Business, and Epic Proportions with The Players Guild of Dearborn. He has produced On the Town, Bye Bye Birdie, The Drowsey Chaperone, Is He Dead?, Cheaper by the Dozen,and Arsenic and Old Lace also for The Guild . Stan is delighted to be a director for Barefoot.  “I’ve had such a wonderful experience working with this group and in this theatre!”

Sherry Bowerman
as Bella Lamb
lives in Plymouth and makes her Barefoot debut as Bella Lamb.  Sherry has appeared in various theater productions as Usherette/Magenta in The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Angel #2 in Scenes of Christmas, Narrator in A Wondrous Love, and in the chorus in Grease and West Side Story.  Sherry is so very pleased to be doing her first show with Barefoot Productions. “I am so grateful to my family for supporting and encouraging me.”​​​​

 of Ypsilanti, is thrilled to be in her third show at Barefoot Productions having previously appeared as Antonia in Man of LaMancha and Lucille/Elf Ellen in Junie B:Jingle Bells, Batman Smells. Beth has also appeared as Roz in Moon Over Buffalo and Bridget in Nana’s Naughty Knickers at Spotlight Players.  While not at the theater, Beth teaches Middle School English. She would like of thank her  family and friends for their support and encouragement.

as Alex Dennison
of Westland is the founder and Artistic Director of an independent acting/improv group, Following Your Heart Players.  Tom also serves as Trustee and Box Office Manager for Barefoot Productions. In addition to acting, his theatre resume includes Assistant Director of The 39 Steps for Barefoot Productions, Director of Sweet Charity for Richmond Community Theatre.  Tom thanks the director, the cast, and crew of Murder for helping with his lines. “I dedicate all my shows to my daughters, Emma and Laci, and to God.”

of Westland, is an experienced improviser and musician (drums).  Mike studied acting and improv at Ruhala Performing Arts Center and teaches communication skills at United Shore. He founded and let an improv troupe in Lansing, The Unthinkables. His favorite role:  Patch Adams’ character played by Robin Williams. “Legos are the best toy ever until you step on one, then you’re mad. But then, there’s Legos, so you’re happy!”

of Dearborn Heights, has been in King Lear, Dracula, Romeo & Juliet, Hamlet, and Nightwatch at Schoolcraft College, as a supernumerary in Tosca and Aida at the Michigan Opera House, in Macbeth at Oakland Community College, in Much Ado About Nothing and Palmer Park at Park Players, in the House of Yes, The Importance of Being Earnest, and The County Wife at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Dalibor has a graduate degree from the University of Michigan, works for the state government, and enjoys traveling. He will be vacationing in Asia/Australia for six weeks starting in late October. “Thank you to Barefoot Productions for this new opportunity. To my coworkers, family, and friends who have supported me, I am forever thankful. And to J.R.H., the show must go on without you.”

Sidney Bowerman 
as Female Officer

 is a student at Schoolcraft College and has been acting for fun since she was a little kid.  Her favorite role was Porter in Macbeth.  Her best ever show was Les Miserables.  This is Sidney’s first show with Barefoot Productions, and the first show she’s been in with her mom,  Sherry Bowerman.  When not working on stage, Sidney’s favorite thing to do is painting.
​

Samantha Corliss
as Loretta
 calls Novi home. She has been with Barefoot in several capacities since 2009. She has appeared on stage many times, including roles in The Twilight of the Golds, Rope, Black Comedy and Murder by Poe, and proudly directed Five Women Wearing the Same Dress. Her favorite production so far was her wedding last October, right here at Barefoot! Samantha is very grateful to be cast in her current state; she was pretty positive no one would put her in a show while pregnant… This will be the third generation of Corliss to grace the Barefoot stage – break a leg, “Peanut”!

of Northville, is a student at Madonna University studying ASL interpreting.  Some of her favorite rolls are Helga L in Night Watch at Schoolcraft College, Maria Merelli in Lend Me A Tenor, and Mrs. Webb in Our Town, both productions at Northville High School.  “Thanks to my family, cast and everyone who made this show possible!”

lives in Canton Township with his wife, Corinne, and their cats.  He was last seen in the Barefoot production of Chekhov’s The Bore.  In his 24 years of community theatre history, his most fun role was Don Quixote in Barefoot's Man of LaMancha.  Butch loves this venue and the people here. “Enjoy the show!”​

from Livonia, is very excited to do his first show with Barefoot Productions.  Favorite roles in the past include the Dentist in Little Shop of Horrors, Dave in The Full Monty, and Bob in Best Christmas Pageant Ever.  Mike would like to thank his amazing wife and daughter for their never-ending supply of love and support.

as Frank Heller
of Livonia, makes his first appearance on the Barefoot Stage as Frank Heller. He has appeared in Schoolcraft College’s productions of Dracula, On Golden Pond, and Romeo and Juliet. Jake studied acting at the Purple Rose Theatre in Chelsea, Michigan.  “Thanks to all of my family and friends for all of your support. A special thank you to Professor James Hartman for instilling in me the importance of dedication and commitment to acting.”
