NORMA AND WANDA
by Jeff Daniels
It’s Christmastime in Michigan, and Norma, a happy, cheerful homemaker, is baking for an upcoming church event. Her husband, Mel, is the local baliff, and islocally notorious for his homemade sausage. Mel also openly hates his sister-in-law, Wanda, who has arrived to borrow money because she just hired a not-bright local thug named Paulie Perkins to “send a message” to her cheating boyfriend, Dutch. And thus is set a grand misunderstanding that plays itself out in the living room of Norma and Mel’s house as the sisters try to reconcile past (and present) mistakes, deal with a church lady who’s dropped in to make peanut butter balls, and keep Mel from killing Wanda.
ON STAGE: December 7-9 and 14-16, 2018
Fridays & Saturdays at 8 PM | Sunday Matinees at 2 PM
