In Memory of Carol Lipinski

The lights of our Little Broadway are shining a little dimmer with the recent passing of Carol Lipinski: a wife, a caregiver, an actor, and a friend.
Carol auditioned in 2008 for our production of Black Coffee. She charmed me easily with her impressive talent and impeccable sense of timing; so began Carol's association with Barefoot Productions. Her staunch support spanned from her on-stage skills to a dedicated volunteer and board trustee, all with equal love.
Carol, a retired nurse, began her stage career later in her life. She trained at Schoolcraft College, under the guidance of Professor Hartman, where she was featured in several productions.
Carol's memorable performances for Barefoot Productions were in productions of: Black Coffee, Same Time, Next Year, Prescription: MURDER, The Good Doctor, Steel Magnolias, Black Comedy, The Vagina Monologues and most recently The Hallelujah Girls. She made us laugh and cry which is the hope of any actor. Carol made us love her on-stage and off.
Carol, you will be missed but not forgotten. Our stage will be here for you, always. Take a bow! We're at a standing ovation for you!
