August 15, 16, 22, & 23 at 8 PM & August 17 & 24 at 2 PM
The small Texas town of Fayro is on its last legs. The two major businesses have closed, and folks are leaving while the leaving is good. The four Futrelle sisters are not going to give up without a fight, though. They hatch a scheme to entice a salsa factory to relocate in Fayro. To do this, they invent “Fayro Days”, complete with a petting zoo, a beauty contest, and a huge Civil War re-enactment. Complicating matters is the plight of the young interim pastor who is likely to lose his home, car, and pulpit unless the Lord can rare back and pass a miracle. A reluctant groom, a midlife crisis, and a rich, devious old aunt add to the confusion.

Several years after Lizzie Borden's trial and acquittal following the murder of her father and stepmother, she lives with her sister, Emma, in 'Maplecroft', a house in the same district of Fall River, MA. One evening Lizzie invites a group of actors from a visiting touring company for the evening. They re-enact the circumstances of the crime and trial, playing various characters involved. Later the Bordens receive an unexpected visit from someone who knows of the crime and is a crucial witness or perhaps 'the murderer'. "Lizzie Borden took an ax.." OR did she? YOU decide.

The Santaland Diaries / Season's Greetings by David Sedaris
November 21 and 22 at 8:00 PM and 10:30 PM
A brilliant evocation of what a slacker's Christmas must feel like. Out of work, our slacker decides to become a Macy's elf during the holiday crunch. At first the job is simply humiliating, but once the thousands of visitors start pouring through Santa's workshop, he becomes battle weary and bitter. Taking consolation in the fact that some of the other elves were television extras on One Life to Live, he grins and bears it, occasionally taking out his frustrations on the children and parents alike. A One man show.
SEASON'S GREETINGS is another funny, touching—and twisted—monologue about the season from a female perspective. A One woman show.
"A delightfully thorny account of working as a Yuletide elf at Macy's. Priceless observations, both outrageous and subtle. Destined to hold a place in the annals of American humor writing." —NY Times
"A satirical brazenness that holds up next to Twain and Nathanael West." —The New Yorker

William Merchant
Directed by Craig A. Hane
December 5, 6, 12, 13 at 8:00 PM and December 7, 14 at 2:00 PM
This comedy-romance is the play that inspired the classic motion picture starring Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracey. Bunny Watson and her Staff, with encyclopedic knowledge of facts and figures, works in a television network reference department. An 'Electronic Brain' called EMMARAC is installed to do the work of people, may soon replace the whole department, but 'Emmy' can not best Bunny in a game of 'Woman' vs. machine. Here is a delightful comedy rich in hilarity for anyone who has ever worked in an office.
"A rollicking, frolicsome hit. " - New York Daily Mirror

February 13, 14, 20, 21 at 8:00 PM and February 15, 22 at 2:00 PM
What's wrong with nine-year-old Jesse? He can't sit still, he curses, he raps, and you can't get him into—or out of—pajamas. His teacher thinks it's Attention Deficit Disorder. Dad says, "He's just a boy!" And Mama's on a quest for answers. Is Jesse dysfunctional, or just different? Don't we all have ADD, to some degree? Everyone is distracted, even the actors—they're breaking character! A hilarious, provocative, and poignant look at a modern family and an epidemic dilemma: Are we so tuned into our 24/7 info-rich world that we've tuned out what really matters?
"A smartly comic, sharply observant and surprisingly humane play." —Associated Press
"A chronically entertaining comedy." —New York Daily News

QED by Peter Parnell Staged by Mike Cuba
April 10, 11 at 8:00 PM and April 12 at 2:00 PM
Nobel Prize-winning physicist Richard Feynman holds forth with captivating wit and wisdom in this fascinating play that originally starred Alan Alda. One of the twentieth century's great physicists, Feynman was also one of its great eccentrics. Not only did he develop the atomic bomb and quantum electrodynamics, but he played the bongos, frequented topless bars and relished his bit parts in university theatricals. With the magnetic Feynman at the center of an exquisitely realized universe, QED exerts an irresistible gravitational pull.
"Who knew quantum electrodynamics could be so much fun?" —NY Post
"The play itself is a kind of proof, dramatically illustrating how a man who happens to be a genius elegantly and movingly works through the human problem of how to face the end of his life…" —The New Yorker

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey & Dale Wasserman Directed by Craig A. Hane
May 8, 9, 15, 16 at 8:00 PM and May 10, 17 at 2:00 PM
Randle P. McMurphy, a charming rogue who contrives to serve a short sentence in an airy mental institution rather than in a prison, learns this was a mistake. He clashes with the fierce head nurse. However he quickly takes over the yard and accomplishes what the medical profession has been unable to do for twelve years; he makes a presumed deaf and dumb Indian talk. He leads others out of introversion, stages a revolt so that they can see the world series on television, and arranges a rollicking midnight party with liquor and chippies. ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST opened at the Cort Theatre in New York City on November 13, 1963.
"Cuckoo is captivating." - N.Y. Post
"Scarifying and powerful." - N.Y. Times
"Funny, touching, and exciting." - N.Y. Daily News
"Brilliant. The stuff of great theatre." - WQR Radio
"Transforms the audience into one wild cheering section." - WNYC Radio
